For proper operation of the dispensing head, its type must match the type of fitting on the KEG. This also guarantees a completely sealed and reliable connection. Our website presents a range of dispensing heads of type A, D, F, M, S, U, as well as Jupiler and KeyKeg. Each type has its own design features and slightly differs in the method of fastening to the KEG. Let's consider the main ones:
● type A - the most popular. Simple and reliable in operation. The head is fixed when the handle is lowered.
● type D - the head is fixed when screwed into the KEG, and there is also an additional sealing ring.
● type F - is clamped with a handle. The possibility of scrolling on the KEG during use is completely excluded.
● type M - screwed onto the KEG from above.
● type S - screwed into the KEG, just like type D. The difference is the absence of a sealing ring.
● U type - fixed by pressing the handle.
● Key Keg type - allows dispensing at a pressure of 4.1 bar, and also, if necessary, quickly release the pressure.
Dispensing heads can be made of nickel-plated brass or stainless steel. Both materials allow the heads to have a long service life - on average 5 years. During the operational period, only periodic maintenance is required, which consists of disassembling, cleaning and replacing worn sealing elements. Repair kits for servicing KEG locks are available on our website.
Also, many models of dispensing heads are equipped with safety valves to protect against increased pressure, as well as check valves installed in beer and gas lines to prevent backflow of material.
